The music is often defined as the art of intonation. This is her understanding is only partially true. Music is intonation and melodic art. General category of artistic imagery derives its specific musical expression first and foremost in the melody.

The historical development of the musical quality of the melodic intonation, the quality of a specific musical imagery was reached a long way. The conquest of this quality meant many things:
